About The Artist
ADDIE'S BABY STUDIO
Winter V. Moore – Artist, Entrepreneur,
and Founder of Addie’s Baby Studio
Winter V. Moore grew up in Florence, South Carolina, where her love for art started when she was in third grade at North Vista Elementary. She was placed in special programs for advanced students, where her art teachers encouraged her to explore her creativity. This passion continued throughout her time at Wilson High School, where she received support from her parents, Larry and Addie J. Moore, as well as her extended family, who always believed in her talent.
After high school, she decided to take her passion for art even further. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a focus on Fine Arts from South Carolina State University. During her time at university, she learned to blend traditional art with modern digital techniques, building on both her creativity and technical skills.
In 2013, Winter turned a difficult time in her life into something positive. After her mother, Addie, passed away from pancreatic cancer in February 2012, she felt inspired to create a space where others could experience the healing power of art, just as it had helped her through tough times. She started Addie’s Baby Studio, a business named after her mother, to offer art classes and events that bring joy, peace, and healing to others.
Her motto is simple: “No matter what happens in life, you have to keep going.” Through her art, she hopes to inspire others to keep moving forward, showing that creativity can be a source of strength and comfort during life’s hardest challenges.
